FIREWATER Homepage

FIREWATER is a country/rock band from the Sparta/Cashton/La Crosse area of Western Wisconsin. Firewater began practicing together in the Spring of 2001. Since they were all friends before the band, it was only natural that they would start one together. As time went on, and they developed a strong list of cover songs and a few originals, they began getting calls. In the Spring, Summer and Fall of 2001 Firewater played 3 shows. Their first headlining gig was at the first annual White Turtle Days, in Cashton, Wisconsin. Following that show, Firewater got their first opening gig for Hamill Road, at Jellystone Campground in Warrens, Wisconsin. It was there that Firewater learned the elusive missing lyrics to "Margaritaville". That show was followed by a New Year's Eve gig at Badger Crossing in Cashton. Within the next year, they became one of the most sought after bands in the area. Fueled by the energy of the crowd, Firewater continues to build a strong following with an emphasis on fan loyalty and simply having a good time.
